Hawkgirl invites herself in an extract from the animated film Green Lantern: Beware My Power

The next product of the WB Animation workshops is on the way. In a short week, fans of this stream of animated adaptations will be able to get their hands on Green Lantern: Beware My Power, a new original project which focuses, this time, on the origins of ring bearer John Stewart. The studio releases an extract of a scene between the hero and a fairly annoyed Hawkgirl. Who plays mass.

The Justice League

Green Lantern: Beware My Power is part of the new generation of cartoons that appeared with the major aesthetic overhaul of WB Animation productions: rather than being confined to one style, each project is now entitled to its own graphic touch. In this case, we find the thickness of the outlines and the more detailed aspect of Superman: Man of Tomorrow and Justice Society: World War II. A proximity which is explained by the name of the director: Jeff Wamester, already at the helm of this latest project.

Scenario side? John Stewart has just obtained the famous green bagouze from the Green Lanterns, without having received the instruction manual for his device. Hunted by a sect of cosmic assassins, the hero takes off for the battlefields of the Rann/Thanagar war.

Green Lantern: Beware My Power is scheduled for release this Tuesday, July 26, 2022 in physical (DVD, blu-ray) and digital format. And Aldis Hodge, interpreter of Hawkman in the film Black Adam, lends his voice to the hero – which makes the interaction with Hawkgirl a little funny, if you are very geek, or have a lot of humor. No admit it, it’s funny. Go on.
