Moon Knight and Blade’s daughter Bloodline will reunite in Crypt of Shadows #1 in October 2022

Because the month of October is always conducive to publications typed “horror”, Marvel Comics will publish this year a one shot Crypt of Shadows #1 which will bring together some of the emblematic characters of the fantastic part of his universe. And also, heroes expected in the more or less long term, or affiliated to licenses used on small and large screens. Because the trans-media strategy no longer hides from being what it is now.

Soon the return of Tomb of Dracula?

Thus, if Werewolf by Night must already invite itself in the boards of a Moon Knight Annual #1 in the same month of October 2022, it is in this Crypt of Shadows #1 that we can also find them. Also listed and presented on the cover that has made its way on the internet are the characters of Elsa Bloodstone, Wolverine (X-23), Man Thing but also Bloodline, Blade’s daughter, who was presented to us this year. during FCBD 2022. A pretty string of characters therefore, apparently brought to fight against disturbing creatures.

The title Crypt of Shadows will obviously speak to those who are familiar with the history of Marvel horror titles. An anthology series of the same name had indeed been published during the years 1973 to 1975, consisting of reprints of horror stories from the 1950s (in the horrific comic book boom that had preceded the establishment of Comics Code Authority), and had therefore accompanied the new wave of horror comics of the time such as Tomb of Dracula, Werewolf By Night, but also Tales of the Zombie or Supernatural Thrillers, to name but a few.
