Actor Karl Urban had already shared the good news with us a few months ago, but internet memory being what it is, it is likely that you have already forgotten it. Never mind: while the third season of The Boys season 3 has just made its debut on Prime Video, the platform therefore confirms what we already knew: there will indeed be a season four.
Never three without four for The Boys
The announcement of the renewal of The Boys for (at least) a season 4 comes to us directly from Prime Video, which prides itself on having made very good numbers on the start of season 3, with an increase over the first three days of audience distribution of +17% compared to season 2, and +234% compared to the very first season. This demonstrates the importance and popularity of the adaptation of comics by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson (which will also offer an Omnibus edition at Panini Comics this summer).
Eric Kripke, the showrunner, knows a priori already when he intends to end the series, but has for the moment been careful not to announce his intentions publicly. Thus, it is not yet said if The Boys season 4 will mark the end of the show – taking into account the basic material, there is still enough to hold. To see if the number of episodes will also grow, after the eight of season 3 (half of which was broadcast at the time of publication of our article). For the moment, good news, and we will obviously be there to relay the rest of this news.
