The release in bookstores of the book entitled The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny and Murder is scheduled for April 2023, but Apple TV+ has already acquired the adaptation rights and has once again called on the prestigious duo for its screen adaptation.

The book tells the story, in 1740, of a British navy ship called The Wager which was shipwrecked on a desert island in Patagonia, South America, with thirty sailors on board, welcomed as heroes by the community. local. Six months later, a new ship runs aground and the crew accuses the thirty sailors of mutiny. The Royal Navy will then organize a trial to find out what really happened on the island.
